Petitions are available at the City Clerk's Office for those individuals wishing to run for a Collinsville City Council seat.  There are currently two full-term (4 years) seats open and one vacant seat to be filled (2 year term).  Candidates must choose to run for a full 4 year term or for the vacant 2 year term.  Petitions can be obtained at Collinsville City Hall.  The filing period begins at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012 and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012.  You must be a registered voter living in the corporate limits of the City of Collinsville with one year of residency preceding the election.  For more information, contact City Clerk Cheryl Brombolich at 346-5204 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
