Health Care
Anderson Hospital, located in Maryville, IL, is a full service facility providing such services as outpatient surgery, inpatient surgery, obstetrics, emergency services, critical care, hospice care, community education/wellness programs, and complete diagnostic services. Library
The Collinsville Memorial Library Center is located at 408 West Main Street. Library Hours are Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m.- 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.  A library card is free to anyone living or owning property within the city limits of Collinsville. The non-resident fee is based on the taxable value of their property tax statement with a minimum cost of $30 per year. Newspapers

The Belleville News-Democrat (618-397-6615) and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (618-235-7100) are published daily and are available by subscription.  The Metro Independent is an online newspaper which can be viewed at metroindependent.com.

The Riverfront Times, a weekly entertainment guide, is available at a variety of stores and restaurants free of charge.

Police Department
The City of Collinsville operates a 43 officer Police Department to protect and serve the residents and visitors of the City. The services provided by the Department include general assistance, criminal complaints, traffic enforcement, investigation, crime scene processing, dispatching, and animal control. Post Office
The United States Post Office is located at 1610 Eastport Plaza Drive.  There is also a Contract Postal Unit within FCB Bank at 800 Belt Line.

School Registration
To register your child in Collinsville Unit #10 Public Schools (elementary, intermediate, middle school, and high school) contact the Administrative Offices at (618)346-6350. The community also has a variety of private/parochial schools to choose from.

Shuttle Bus
The City of Collinsville provides a free shuttle bus service to senior citizens (60 years and older) and the disabled. The bus runs within the city limits Monday-Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please call (618)346-5200 EXT 151.

Trash Collection
The City of Collinsville contracts with Allied Waste, a private trash hauler, to operate in the city limits. The service can be established at the same time as water and sewer service and is billed with these other services on a bi-monthly cycle by the City of Collinsville. Recycling services are also included. Yard waste pickup is available on a weekly basis. Residents who desire yard waste pickup must contract directly with Allied Waste for this service. Water and Sewer Service
The City of Collinsville provides water and sewer service for its residents.  For properties inside the City limits, a $100 deposit and $10 service charge is required for homeowners and a $150 deposit and $10 service charge is required for renters.  For properties outside the City limits but serviced by Collinsville water, a $140 deposit and $10 service charge is required for homeowners and a $190 and $10 service charge is required for renters.  Billing is on a bi-monthly cycle.
