Collinsville Police Chief Eric Van Hook Resigns

 

Collinsville, Illinois – November 01, 2013 – Effective November 29, 2013, Eric Van Hook will resign from and surrender all roles and responsibilities as Chief of Police for the City of Collinsville.  He has accepted the position as Chief of Police with the City of O’Fallon, Illinois and will assume all roles and responsibilities with their staff come December.

 

“We are grateful to have had Chief Van Hook as a member of our workforce for the past year,” stated City Manager Scott Williams. “His enthusiasm, work ethic, and passion for public safety will surely be missed, but we wish him the best of luck in his future with the City of O’Fallon.”

 

The Mission of the Collinsville Police Department is to protect lives and property, to maintain peace and order and to reduce crime through education, prevention, and proactive police service.
